There was a lot that we really loved and enjoyed about Rhi and Tom’s wedding at Rhosygilwen Mansion. Throughout the day we presented with so much to photograph and were greeted by one of the hottest days of the year. It was our first wedding at Rhosygilwen and we really could not have asked for anything more. Rhi and Tom hosted such a fun and relaxed day which everyone could simply enjoy, including us! They chose us as their photographers because they wanted the same as most people want who book us, a relaxed and documentary approach to their photography.

Rhi and Tom chose to take full advantage of what Rhosygilwen has to offer, by having both the ceremony and reception at the venue. This meant more time to enjoy with their loved ones and meant there was no possibility of unnecessary stress caused by travel delays. The added bonus to this arrangement was that their ceremony was held in stunning Orangery, which quite possibly is one of the most unique and striking features of the venue. Located adjacent to the reception hall of Neuadd y Dderwen it makes a very convenient set-up for any wedding.

Our day began the usual way, some relaxed and composed morning preparations with the girls and the usual 10-minute collective dash with the boys! :) Tom and boys (all rugby players) chose to get ready away from the venue which meant there was an opportunity for a quick pre-ceremony throw-about before heading over to Rhosygilwen. While Rhi and the girls enjoyed a glass or two of bubbly at the mansion house before heading over to the ceremony, just a two minute walk away. Buckland Hall Wedding | Carys + Steve

Last year was a brilliant year for us. We photographed so many amazing weddings, for so many amazing couples. All of whom welcomed us into their lives, entrusting us with the honour of capturing the most important day of their lives. Without doubt Carys & Steve gave us one of the warmest welcomes. Being able to instantly connect with them through our shared love of the great outdoors and travel made the perfect blend for a great rapport. Their love for the outdoors had a big influence on their chosen wedding venue. Set in the stunning countryside of Brecon Beacons, the venue of Buckland Hall was the perfect match for them.

Blessed with perfect weather and a mix of family and close friends. Their day had a cozy and relaxed atmosphere where everyone had a chance to unwind and enjoy. Even Jess, Carys and Steve's dog who made a special guest appearance. Had her own space to let-loose for a few games of fetch!

Rich and Maria......Thank you so much for photographing our wedding at Buckland Hall on the weekend. You were AMAZING.....everything from your effort of visiting the venue before the big day to 'get a feel of the place', to our photos in the morning before the ceremony, the organisation but relaxed nature of the group photos, to our special 'couple' photographs. You did not stop throughout the whole day, and it never felt intrusive.... half the time I didn't know you were there! We especially loved the little extras such as photos with our dog and 'just one more location' as you had found the perfect place! We had lots of fun during the photos too which I'm sure will show through! Cannot wait to see our photos and again want to say a massive THANK YOU to you both.

Gemma and Craig Gallivan’s Wedding

Gemma and Craig Gallivan chose the beautiful Corran Resort & Spa for their wedding day celebration. A perfect venue for a wedding celebration with a difference!

We have to admit it’s not every day we receive an enquiry from someone with celebrity status. If you don’t know who Craig Gallivan is then we highly recommend you check his Wikipedia page here. In a nutshell, his profile reads, a Welsh actor best known for playing Callum Watson in Footballers Wives', the ITV2 spin-off drama Footballers' Wives: Extra Time and more recently as Luke (Morris) Morgan in the Sky1 television comedy series Stella. In August 2018 took over in the lead role in the West End musical School of Rock becoming the longest-serving Dewey in the shows West End history. There is so much more to read about Craig, but you get the picture!

We mentioned earlier that their wedding was a celebration with a difference, and we meant it. These guys set out to make their wedding day something very special and without spoiling the story we would encourage you to scroll through the images below and make to the end. Regardless of Craig’s involvement in TV, they hosted a day that was very much focused on their amazing families and close friends. The day had a very natural and intimate feel to it and it was for that was the reason that Gemma and Craig chose us as their photographers. Mansion House Llansteffan Wedding | Gareth + Aled

Aled and Gareth chose the stunning venue of the Mansion House in Llansteffan to tie the knot. One of our favourite and local wedding venues in Carmarthenshire. With their chosen vintage themed wedding and a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the stunning Tywi estuary. It’s easy to see why this venue is so popular and why this wedding is such a memorable day of celebration for us. As you look through the images below you’ll soon realise that Gareth and Aled’s day was brimming with real and joyful moments throughout! Here is the story of their magical day in images, not words. Corran Resort Wedding | Catrin + William

Catrin and William's wedding at The Corran Resort & Spa was a day that can only be described as amazing! Despite the welsh weather misbehaving for most of the day, there really wasn't anything else not to love about this wedding. They chose to celebrate at one of our favourite local wedding venues, The Corran Resort & Spa near Laugharne.

The day started with a difference and plenty of laughs when the boys, William and his groomsmen, braved the wind and rain cycling all the way from St.Clears to Laugharne. To top everyone else William and best man even rode a tandem!

Catrin and the girls certainly made the most of their morning too. With a drop of bubbly, lots of pampering and plenty of laughs throughout the morning preparations. By the time the guests arrived and the ceremony was about the start the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement and we could feel that we were in for a great celebration!

In addition to all the amazing decor, details and everything else that Catrin & Will put into their wedding. It was the energy and vibe from all that attended that made this wedding day so much fun to capture. What we may of missed-out on outdoor photo opportunities due to the weather, but we certainly made up for things indoors when the evening celebrations kicked off!

Caerphilly Castle Wedding | Gabriela + Wassim

If we had to describe Gabriela and Wassim's wedding at Caerphilly Castle in one word then it would be HAPPINESS! Happiness is the ingredient that brings together everything within a relationship, and when we had the pleasure to capture this special day with two amazing people we were surrounded by buckets loads of happiness! Happy people make happy images, and happy images make beautiful memories to be treasured for years to come. As you take a moment to scroll through this set of images you'll easily see why we've been so excited to share this wedding.

We didn't really have much chance to get to know Gabriela and Wassim before the wedding, because they both live in Dubai. But what we did know, was that they were a great looking couple, who seemed very much in love and also planned to get married at a venue we'd always wanted to photograph. So with all that considered we knew we had the makings of a great day ahead of us.

Fast forward a few months and our predictions were just as we expected. Right from the moment we met, we were treated like old friends. Hugs, happiness and high fives all around! There was an air of excitement and a buzz that seemed to radiate through everyone during the preparations. When we found out that family and friends were travelling in from all over the world to celebrate, we knew that this was going to be one wedding we wouldn't forget in a hurry.
